Kayak & Paddleboard

MERRILY WE ROW ALONG

Kayak & Paddleboard

One of the best ways to get around Daufuskie Island’s beautiful coastal marshes is by kayak, and the shallow water at the end of the beach is ideal for launching a paddleboard. Whether you’re a novice or expert, enjoying island life from the water makes for an excellent adventure.

Kayak and Paddleboard Rentals

Tour Daufuskie rents kayaks and paddleboards off the public beach by the hour. We can also run kayak rentals on the creek side of the island to experienced saltwater paddlers. Staying on the island? Tour Daufuskie rents kayaks and paddleboards overnight.

Guided Daufuskie Island Kayak Tours

In addition to possibly getting up close to Daufuskie wildlife such as dolphin, egrets, great blue herons, eagles, osprey, and much more, our guides with naturalist backgrounds will give you Lowcountry knowledge of the many wonders you are sure to see, smell, and touch. We also offer kayak and paddleboard rentals for those of you who may want a self-guided outing. Tours run seasonally and are weather dependent.

Rent a Kayak for the Weekend

Kayaks are ideal for weekenders and long-term renters staying at the cottages at the Beach at Melrose. Call 843-842-9449 to reserve a kayak overnight.
